2. Begin your effort in making good ground, i.e. making SOPs of your laboratory, enter your inventory in excel template provided etc.
3. Upload the inventory, samples, reagents etc, if already made. Otherwise, simply create new reagents leaving the old ones aside.
4. Create a new Project, assign to researchers, create themes of investigaiton, and create experiments. One cycle, you are an expert! If you wish to know more about our policies, please write us
Elab Work Flow
Enter your Laboratory specific Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, etc.
Create and keep entering finechemicals in inventory, make reagents using the inventory, enter your precious samples and their storage information etc., euipment, their service records, logbooks etc. This can be done by your laboratory assistant role, specifically created for this purpose.
As the Principal Investigator, create a new research project, you or your students/post doctoral fellows/technicians can create their specific, assigned themes of investigation.
They now can select their theme of investigation and keep posting the details of experiments carried out under that specific theme. Upload, images videos, excel sheets containing raw data/graphs/analysis etc. This will remain forever in the system.
As an PI of the laboratory, post your comments etc. In fact you can take pictures using your mobile/tablet/web camera and upload load them straight to the experiment data. Nothing important should be missed.
It is highly advisable to keep raw, unmodified or non-decorated or annotated data always (may be demanded by journals now).
Upload raw data containing MS-Excel files / MS-Word files etc, in a given experiment. They will remain forever with that data
If a mistake is made in any entry, just post another entry describing the mistake and its correction. Keep integrity high.
