What are the objectives?
The main objective of ELab module is to chronologically record all experimental details with efficiency and integrity. Never worry of authenticity of record of work.

The ease recalling data, comments on experiments, specifc references, pages, protocols, procedures, carried on every aspects must be captured accurately and in a tamperproff manner.
Tracking experimentation on animals is an essential requirement of CPCSEA as well as all reputed journals. ELab takes the pain away.
Most important aspect is the tamper and edit proof of data posted. Data once entered cannot edited or modified or deleted.
A completely structured software is easily amenable to data storage, searching and AI and ML based deeper understanding and easy to read even in the absence of user-interface.
How many ways I can use Elab package?
Elab is a Software as a Service package, well known as "SaaS" product. You just pay for usage. We also install on-campus, an encrypted version, for those wish to have it on campus. Architecture remains the same and you need to pay for annual update maintenance fee every year or a contracted period. Update include safety patches, version revision including new features requested by users etc. Worry free usage!
What happens to my data, who own's it?
It is your data. You own it. It is in your own possession all the time. No one can access it.
What If I discontinue from CLEAR subscription?
Discontinuation of service does not mean loss of right on your data. It is yours and will remain yours forever. We simply surrender your data. We only keep your feedback and usage statistics.
Can I read my data by some means without user interface?
Yes, you can, all the time. All your data can be exported to CSV format. You can use either Notepad or Microsoft Excel after you download to your local machine.
Can I download images, files uploaded etc, independently?
Yes, you can, all the time. Click of a link downloads all your files, data stored etc.
How many years Meissa stores my data?
As long as you are a subscriber. Data belongs to signed user. We simply handover the data to you at the end of subscription.
What happens at the end of subscription?
If you have chosen self-hosting/hybrid-hosting, you are already having your data in hand. We simply handover the data to you at the end of subscription. We only keep your valuable feedback.
What if I retire or move to new organization?
As long as you are a paid subscriber, you will have access to it no matter where you move to.
How long I can access my data and my research work?
As long as you are a paid subscriber, you will have access it.
What is the integrity of data posted by me?
Data once entered is tamper and edit proof. It cannot be accessed by anyone other than the subscriber.
What if I fail to renew my subscription on time?
It depends upon good credit and payment history. Customers who always delay payments may experience inacess but an assurance of timely payment would make us happy. Good payment history makes us serve you better.
What if I belong to Government organization?
No problem. Meissa complies with cyber laws of India. This is a per user group subscription licence. You are free to subscrbe the service.
How can I subscribe being in a Government organization?
It is like buying subscription for an office suite or any other package on an annual licence.
What local laws are applicable?
All territorial laws of the subscriber's location will be applicable.
Is this software on a perpetual license?
No. This software license is annual usage license. All web application softwares require regular maintenance and upgrades to make them up to date and safe.
Will Meissa give perpetual license for on-campus hosting?

There are many advantages of cloud hosting. To make it simple, no worries to keep the server update. It is available 99.99% of time, it is secure. Automated and personalized back-ups keep data always in safe-mode. The data is readable in simple notepad, if needed.
Which is better: on-campus or cloud-hosting?
Maintenance of on-campus infra structure requires well-trained staff and infrastructure cost. To have it on cloud, you don't need trained staff only cost of the service.
What is hybrid hosting?
The hybrid hosting model makes you choose the cloud server and plan-type (paid by user) and hold complete access to the server. Meissa merely installs and runs the encrypted application for you. You are in full control of your server. However, you have the responsibility to manage your server, of course, we will give you guidence.
Why should I trust Meissa?

Would Meissa blocks my data or access?
